2nd Cutting... Just A Little Too Late For Perfect

The rain in combination with the heat has made our hay fields grow and grow and grow! That was great news until we noticed it had the same effect on weeds that snuck into our fields - unwanted and unneeded. So we began harvesting our fields and since most were too weedy for our standards, many fields have been round baled wich will make some really nice cattle hay.

The weather continues to be hot and unpredictable. The alfalfa is looking healthy and growing quickly. We added some of our favorite AgroLiquid fertilizer to make sure it is getting the nutrients needed for our great hay. The forecast looks favorable for us to get our alfalfa and grass hay for third cutting and be back on track.
